Our Story
We are passionate motorcycle riders. We enjoy every possibility to ride - no matter whether it’s a mountain odyssey whilst on holiday or a simple commute to work. We having been riding since our early teens and we know the importance of safety and protection.
Yes, a one piece leather suit is the safest gear for riders. However, similar to racing technologies, it doesn't always fit with your daily life. Going to Walmart in full striking leathers, sitting at your office desk, meeting your customer… or your crush, well, that’s a bit of a statement. Congratulations if you can pull it off!
Riding a bike in protective gear at night and commuting to work in a “cage” is sad. At the same time, riding in regular jeans and sacrificing protection is not really what weare all about either. We've always looked for a solution to this problem and in 2016 we discovered a very special material - Dyneema®. It was obvious that this special fabric, one that looks like good old denim but is strong like leather, will change the motorcycle gear industry.
Importance of Abrasion Protection
People often misunderstand how motorcycle protective gear works. There are two injurious factors in case of an accident - abrasion and impact. Sometimes we still see riders in regular jeans wearing “rollerblading” knee protectors. Will it help in case of an accident? - probably yes, if the speed is low.
Body armor protects offroad riders in their specific riding conditions when the speed is quite low and the surface is usually not hard asphalt. It’s almost useful at a high speed, but not quite. Do you remember when we were kids and used to ride our bicycles? Our knees and palms were permanently grazed up. We used to drop and we used to slide on the hard asphalt - at least a foot or two. Just try to imagine what would happen falling from a motorcycle at 40mph. A short slide on the tarmac will shred your clothes and burn your skin down to the bone in no time.
Our fabrics are tested in a Darmstadt machine and certified by TÜV Rheinland, Germany. The test method to determine the impact abrasion resistance of motorcycle protective clothing, developed by the Institute of Automative Engineering at the Technische Universität Darmstadt, is an essential part of the highest Standards EN17092-1 to EN17092-6. The Darmstadt testing machine emulates asphalt or a concrete road surface, initial speed: 60 km/h – 120 km/h and evaluates the slip period, slip distance, hole formation, mean coefficent of friction and relative loss of mass results.
Simply the World’s Strongest Fiber™
Dyneema® is Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE). As the World’s Strongest Fiber™, Dyneema® offers maximum strength combined with minimum weight. Fifteen times stronger than steel and up to 40% stronger than aramid fibers, Dyneema® has long been used to moor oilrigs, sail ships, stop bullets and repair human ligaments. Lighter than water, Dyneema® is water repellant, highly resistant to UV light and chemicals, and highly thermo-conductive.
To create an essentially unbreakable technical high-performance denim, more Dyneema® special technology is required – using a unique double warp beam with cotton on the front and Dyneema® on the back and weft. With this technology, performance levels rise exponentially, complete with 360˚torsional strength. With double-weaved Dyneema® Denim being the first single-layer denim capable of making garments that can achieve level one CE-certification, the fabric is now in a position to easily replace leather as the material of choice in the motorcycle protective apparel industry.

ARMALITH® is a revolutionary denim technology invented in France and protected by an international patent. Its secret lies in the complex weaving of cotton fiber and UHMWPE, a high-tech fiber derived from space with military and offshore applications.
This unique assembly gives ARMALITH® the mechanical qualities of leather: extreme resistance to snags and tears. As ARMALITH® is resistant to UV light, it preserves its exceptional properties over time. It stays soft, absorbent, breathable, and dyed with a beautiful indigo color that will take on a patina over time.
Currently produced in Valencia, Spain, Armalith® Denim has a true traditional Indigo obtained through a succession of cold baths in Indigo dye. The yarn is successively dipped in Indigo baths with occasional pauses in the open air (oxidation). This more environmentally friendly process gives an authentic worn look to the jeans.

We combine both fabrics in our production. Both of them are tested under strict prEN 17092-3:2017 standards, and both of these materials consist of regular cotton with UHMWPE fiber woven inside.
UHMWPE - Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene - is a synthetic material 15 times stronger than steel. It is made of extra-thin yarns that are imperceptible when woven with cotton but dramatically change the abrasion properties.
The main difference between Dyneema® and Armalith® is how UHMWPE fiber forms an invisible but super-strong mesh inside the cotton fabric.
Dyneema® uses a unique double warp beam with cotton on the front and Dyneema® on the back and weft. Armalith® uses a different weaving technology. Every Armalith yarn is a composite of the UHMWPE core and Indigo cotton covering. This allows use of more UHMWPE without losing the comfortable properties of regular Denim.
Both technologies are great. Their producers supply fabric for our manufacturing that’s absolutely fantastic in terms of look and feel. They also deliver abrasion-proof certificates alongside the fabric rolls. This makes us feel sure that our customers will be safe in our jeans.
Impact protectors
Dyneema® protects from abrasion and body armor protects from impact. That is the formula of motorcycle gear made the right way.
Pursuing a goal to deliver the most comfortable yet most protective jeans, we tested hundreds of different knee and hip protectors from various manufacturers – even including special D30 technologies. And we found the best material to be a special thermoplastic elastomer made of German manufactured BASF material.
Dyns hip and knee protectors are extremely flexible – they can deform under external force and then return to their original shape. As a result, these protectors are impact-resistant, thus improving the safety of the rider. Moreover, they are perfectly adjustable and therefore do not restrict movement. You may also appreciate their light weight.
And most importantly – the protectors are certified in SATRA - an independent research and testing organisation established in the UK in 1919 for the highest possible Level-2 protection according to EN1621-1:2012 standard.
